This is a group exhibition, showing artwork by students following Adult and Community Learning Art, Design and Craft Courses at Northbrook College, Littlehampton Road, Worthing, West Sussex BN12 6NU
This 3-day group show at the Heene Gallery features an exciting mix of artwork from students following day and evening courses in Adult and Community Learning at Northbrook College Sussex. The bright airy space is packed with creative gems selected from the portfolios of current students.
Drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, stained glass and digital art will be exhibited, showing all levels of ability from beginners to those learners who have been studying for many years on ACL courses. The work shows a high degree of skill and many exhibitors have previously sold artwork through local exhibitions.
Tutors will be on hand during the show to advise on courses and to distribute the new prospectus for classes starting at Northbrook College in September. Students will also be available to talk to visitors about their learning experiences and to explain their work.
The Northbrook College part-time art courses really do cater for all abilities from complete beginner to those with experience who wish to build on their skills or try new art forms. These arts, design and craft courses provide an opportunity for personal development, an enjoyable experience and a chance to make new friends. They also allow learners to gain confidence before moving on, if they wish, to an accredited course.
Visiting this group show may inspire you to pick up a paintbrush, sculpt in stone or clay or turn your photographs into digital artwork. It really is never too late to learn.
Refreshments are available and comfy chairs provided if you need a break.
