Christine Forbes writes: Chinese and Buddhist philosophies are ever present in my working practice. A search for a personal ‘reality’ that is both absolute and yet transient. Drawing for hours allows both the mind and the work to attain fluidity. It is this restless quest for psychological freedom and a more metaphysical perception that is encoded in these plant forms.

Fizz Fieldgrass hand-constructs prints, in 3D and/or in relief, using photo and graphic imagery produced on certain types of Japanese papers.
