Linda’s current work (The Patchwork Series) is inspired by her ongoing fascination of the natural environment, both rural and urban, and the web of cultural influences it has to offer. The mixed media paintings and drawings are intended to communicate her appreciation of these elements, and blend them together so that they become dynamic and vibrant pieces of new experiences. The decorative details in the work are mainly arising from the structures and shapes found in nature and natural objects.
